when I was 16

I cant wait to be 18

so that I can do whatever i want

I can officially have a boyfriend

I can drink I can drive I can dance in the rain

then I was 18

nothing happened.

things were still things

more stuff more clothes more responsibilities

so I thought when I am 21 

I am going to rock and roll the world

because I am 21 and young and wild

then I was 21

then I am 23

take me away peter pan

grow up is not my thing

it will never be my thing
